WGLX Ultimate Tailgate Contest
The WGLX Ultimate Tailgate Contest will run from 9/17/18 through 10/26/18.The winner of the contest will be determined on 10/26/18.
Who Can Enter:
To enter, contestants must be residents of the State of Wisconsin, who are 21 years of age or older.
Employees of Station, NRG Media (the “Company”), its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, contest sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, any other Central Wisconsin area radio stations and the immediate family members (i.e., spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, and siblings) and anyone else residing within the household of each of the above are NOT eligible to enter and/or win.
How to Play:
Listen to WGLX during the contest period (9/17/18 – 10/26/18) weekdays for the “WGLX Ultimate Tailgate Experience Deep Track of the Day “to be played. The Deep Track of the Day (Song) will be announced on-air during the Bob and Tom Show 5am – 10am. The song will also be posted on www.wglx.com sometime after 10am. When you hear that track played later that same day on WGLX be caller number 21 to the studio line (715- 345-WGLX or 1-800-424-9459). If you are caller (21) twenty-one will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing. You may only qualify once for the WGLX Ultimate Tailgate Experience Contest.
On 10/26/18, a qualifier’s name will be randomly drawn and announced on WGLX between 2pm and 7pm to win the Grand Prize. You do not need to be listening for your name if you are the Grand Prize Winner.
There will be at least 1 “On The Spot” location where listeners can come out for a chance to be a finalist. That location will be posted at WGLX.com with the date and time. Listeners will complete an entry form, and be in the running for the WGLX Ultimate Tailgate Experience.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Contestants may enter as often as they wish, unless specified otherwise. Station is not responsible for any entries and/or text messages that are misdirected, lost, stolen, disconnected, not received, or are illegible. Station is not responsible for any printing errors. All entries become the property of the Station and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries received that are mutilated, tampered with, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. Entries that are deemed to be fraudulent will be void, and the person making such an entry barred from further participation in that contest.
Station Management shall be the sole arbiters in all matters relating to the contest and in the interpretation of contest rules. The decisions of Station Management shall be final. Entry into the contests constitutes agreement by contestant to abide by these rules, as well as any other rules established by the Station.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive: A Charbroil Gas Grill, Craftsman grilling tools, LP Tank, A Packer Cooler full of goodies, $105 worth of Brats from Trig’s Smokhouse, Camp Chairs and a Folding Camp Table, $500 gift card to Hoffman Hobbies and Sports. 4 Miller Lite Packer Party Deck tickets to the 12/2/18 game. Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for all contests and giveaways. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. No transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.
Prizes not claimed within 30 days of being awarded, or in the case of a time-sensitive prize, within its period of usability, shall be considered forfeited and will become property of the Station. Such a prize may be disposed of at the discretion of Station Management.
Winners are responsible for paying all applicable local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prize, as set forth in the contest rules. Winners will need to complete an IRS form W9 and will be issued an IRS 1099 form for all prizes won from the Station where the aggregate value of all prizes is $600 or more.
By participating in this contest, each contestant hereby consents to the Company’s use of following for on-air broadcast and for advertising and promotional purposes without payment of additional consideration: contestant’s name; voice; likeness; biographical information; his/her participation in the contest; and the substance of the contestant’s telephone call.

Odd of winning depends on the number of entries.

Station is not responsible for crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters, Acts of God or man. Station is not responsible for any error or technical malfunctions associated that may affect any entrant’s ability to enter, win, or be properly considered in this Contest, regardless of the cause.
Station contests are subject to all applicable laws and regulations and are void where prohibited.
Station reserves the right to change, alter or modify these rules at any time with or without written notice. Material changes to the contest rules will be broadcast on-air, when practical.
Station reserves the right to end or stop any contest at any time and for any reason.
Station and contest sponsors are not responsible for a contestant’s inability to acquire transportation to a location to compete in an event, personal circumstances prohibiting participation in a contest or other circumstances beyond their control. Winners may make no substitution or transfer of prize. Nothing in any contest is intended to create or imply any contractual, fiduciary or other rights for the contestant or obligations, except as expressly stated by Station.
Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited, and anyone behaving in such manner will be disqualified from participating in the contest and asked to leave any event associated with the Contest.
Station acts as an agent only and does not control the various aspects of prize including the game reserve, the hunt itself, transportation, lodging or meals.
Winner, on his own behalf and on behalf of Winner’s heirs, successors or assigns, in consideration of participation in a contest, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, does hereby COVENANT TO FULLY RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE NRG Media, WGLX, contest sponsors, and each of their subsidiaries, affiliates, related entities, directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives, from and against any and all actions, charges, claims, losses, costs, damages, expenses (including attorneys’ fees and expenses) and liabilities of any kind or character, whether known or unknown, in connection with, arising out of or in any way related to Winner’s participation in or winning of any contest and/or acceptance, award, ownership or use of prize after it is awarded.
Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY CIRCUMVENT, DISRUPT OR DAMAGE ORDINARY AND NORMAL OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST, TELEPHONE SYSTEMS OR WEBSITE, OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, COMPANY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPATE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
