Costaki Economopoulos is a comedian, true, but he's also a football fan. Those two factors alone make him the perfect candidate to give us a comedic look back at the NFL each week with his new feature that's also been picked up by The Huffington Post and Bleacher Report. With his Greek heritage, it's not surprising that he's been described as a âjoke philosopher,â and we're sure he's not the only one saying that. Costaki is also a talented joke writer who's punchlines have been heard on "The Tonight Show," Showtime, BET, and MTV. Follow Costaki on facebook and twitter.
Though a number of colorful characters have emerged from CBS's Survivor, few have taken America by storm like Rupert Boneham. The tie-dyed tank top wearing, black bearded, gentle giant was the star of two back-to-back seasons, Survivor Pearl Islands and Survivor: All-Stars. He didn't win the grand prize in either outing, but we was awarded a bonus $1 Million dollar prize for being voted "America's favorite Survivor." Since then, he's organized the children's charity organization, Rupert's Kids, wrote his autobiography, Rupert: Just Being Me, ran for governor in the state of Indiana, and appeared on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains (where he lasted until the final six), and is set to return to the islands once more (alongside his wife Laura) on the new season, "Survivor: Blood vs Water." His October 2009 debut in Londonâs Soho Theatre made him the youngest stand-up ever to perform a solo season in the West End and he has performed in Europe, Australia and South East Asia. Winner 2011âs Scottish Variety Award â Best New Comedian. Catch Danielâs new show THE JOKER in Edinburgh this August (www.assemblyfestival.com)
