Ah, Labor Day. The un-official end of summer, and the day to celebrate all of the hard-working men and women who rock out with us every day!

The first Labor Day celebration was held in 1882 in New York City. It was proposed as a “workingman’s holiday” by the Central Labor Union. You can find out more about the history of Labor Day here.

No matter what you are doing this Labor Day, you will definitely need some music. To help with that, I put together a playlist of the Top 10 Classic Rock Songs I’m rocking out to this Labor Day.

At some point in your working life, you know you have related to “I don’t want to work”

#9 – Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band – Feel Like A Number

If you have ever had a job where the boss forgot your name, this one’s for you.

#8 – ZZ Top – Just Got Paid

Because - let’s be honest here – even if you love your job, you’re working for that $$$
